Today, at our church, we had a youth service for middle-schoolers. Just before the service started, our leadership team brought up something that got me thinking.
We talked about a person who previously attended our highschool service, that she felt unwanted there because of people being rude to her.
So I thought, what would the world be like without people constantly judging others? Especially in a place of worship! Would less teens commit suicide? Would more teens accept the Lord as their savior? How can we stop people from judging others?
Truth is, we cant! That is something that they have to do on their own. So next time you go to judge someone, ask yourself, How would i feel if i was in that persons shoes? Will judging that person be worth it, knowing that it will hurt the other person? Will I benefit from it? Because only YOU can control what you say or do. And honestly, if you call yourself a Christian, you will let God do all the judging!
